Having shot quite a number of weddings over the years, we found that we've been asked a lot of the same questions by people looking for some simple advice. If your particular question isn't answered here then feel free to drop us a line. We promise not to try and sell you anything!!
Where are you based?
As a two man photography team, we're based in both the heart of the beautiful Essex countryside, in Stansted Mountfitchet and also in Bromley, Kent. If you're in the area, why not pop by for a chat and a cup of tea!* Alternatively, we're more than happy to meet with you in a location more suitable for you.... We're good like that!
*Please let us know you're popping over before you arrive, otherwise we might just stare at you!
Do you only shoot in and around London?
Absolutely not. Whilst most of our work sees us travelling to London and around the Home counties, we have travelled extensively throughout the UK. In fact, we also offer bespoke packages for destination weddings in Europe, India, Sri Lanka and beyond. We have received a cheaper quote than yours. Can you beat it?
Our pricing framework is equal for all of our clients and as such the quote we provide will be the lowest we can offer. Discounting our work further would be unfair to our waiting couples. We sincerely value the feelings of those who have decided to use Hybrid Photography and we cannot compromise their trust and belief in our high quality products and service, which we take immense pride in. Whilst we do our best to offer you the best value, we don't compete on price in order to secure a booking.
If you are happy with another photographer's work and their prices are within your budget, we recommend you book them.

Do you turn up with a crew of assistants?
We don't need to. There's two of us, Dave and Peter. We work as a team on our weddings. We can, therefore, cover all areas of your wedding and, quite importantly, be in two places at once so that no detail is left out. We both specialise in slightly different areas of our field and our Bios explain this in slightly more detail - but suffice to say you won't have a posse of photographers, support staff, lighting assistants, make up artists, hairdressers etc turning up and filling up your venue on the big day; it's just the two of us.

How long will you stay at the wedding?
Generally, our full day package means we will cover from morning preparation to the first dance, however, in real terms this works out to be around 10 hours. If you need to extend the hours ad hoc this can be arranged - you'll be offered an extension fee and in any case this won't push you past the full day price.

Free consultation? Really?
We feel that it's really important to meet the photographer and for us to meet you. We'd love to meet you and have a chat over a nice cup of coffee to make sure we're really what you want (I'm sure we will be!) and to discuss exactly what you want from your wedding photography. After this initial consultation we hope to leave you in the ideal position to choose if Hybrid Photography is what you want and you can come back for as many free consultations as you want, right up to your wedding day!
